The Gardens surround the historic house and are open for all to enjoy. Like many gardens on the West Coast, the mild climate of the Gulf Stream enables an amazing range of plants to grow and thrive. There are many mature trees, rhododendrons and other rare and ununsual plants around the grounds of Kinlochlaich. The octagonal walled garden was built around 1790 and continues to be a sheltered haven full of plants giving colour and pleasure all year round.
